What Happened:
The Texas Rural Foundation went defunct and lost its tax status under Sid Miller’s watch. His failure to put in the hard work and fulfill the basic requirements of his office meant that the GO TEXAN funding/structure collapsed, leaving specialty revenues idle until the Texas Sunset Advisory Commission urged fixes.

Leadership isn’t just about being elected; it’s about rolling up your sleeves and fighting to make sure that rural Texans have a champion who is ready and willing to do whatever is needed to get the job done.
